For Note 2 GT-N7100 ROM of the week, check out the latest version of Hawkish Extreme ROM (Also known as Hawkish Premium as we saw back last month), which now comes with 6 themes along with Galaxy S4 theme for those of you who want Galaxy S4 features on your Note 2.
Of course, it’s going to take awhile before cool features from Galaxy S4 like Wireless Remote Viewfinder or dual camera mode to come to the Note 2 but this ROM does come with goodies like S4 Translator and some S4 widgets.
For kernel, you do have choice of stock, Perseus, or Redpill kernel. (See Perseus kernel tutorial here)
And yes, you still get features from older version such as AOSP lockscreen, call recording, call button in contact list, stock browser defaulted to Desktop, higher-bitrate camcorder, 720PHD YouTube for 3G/Wifi from the last version. (You can see video overview of older version here.)
Overall, the latest Hawkish Extreme ROM is better than ever, certainly one of the best ROMs I’ve tried and have gotten some really great feedback.
If this sounds something you are interested in, perhaps be crazy about, flash it over the week(end) and do let me know anything else new you find!
