This isn’t for the faint-hearted but for those of you who need to take your Note 2 to the maximum. With my AT&T Note 2 SGH-I317 overclocked to 1.92Ghz, I was able to get my new Note 2 benchmark records of over 8000 on Quadrant and 18,000 on Antutu.
Traveling to another country soon? Perhaps you bought a Verizon Galaxy Note 2 and want to use it in another country?
Did you know that the Verizon Galaxy Note 2 has world bands and supports GSM/HSPA+ to use as a World Phone?
The Verizon Galaxy Note 2 is already a world phone if you swap out the SIM card but Verizon has locked down APN, which means you will be able to get voice but 3G/HSPA+/4G LTE data is blocked.
Couple days ago, I went on a trip to Lake Tahoe to see snow with my rooted Verizon Galaxy Note 2 SCH-I605. Well, I didn’t realize that I didn’t setup wifi tether but was able to get it working while on the way there.
It’s pretty simple, you will need a rooted Verizon Note 2 and also use a modified Wifi Tether app.
For those of you who want a custom ROM already on the Sprint Galaxy Note 2 SPH-L900, you might want to give the JellyBomb ROM first. One of the first custom ROMs available for the Sprint GNote 2, this ROM brings a ton of blue cues and hues to make your phone like a custom phone.
This ROM comes de-bloated, many AOSP parts, ads blocked, deodexed, zipaligned, and a ton more.
For those of you who want to root the Verizon Galaxy Note 2 SCH-I605, you can do it by flashing an official stock firmware with root injected.
NOTE: THIS METHOD IS NOT FOR USERS WITH 4.3 OR 4.4.2! THIS IS AN OLDER TUTORIAL FOR USERS WITH OLDER FIRMWARE!

For those of you on rooted and custom ROMs, now you can easily update to the latest L900VPALJC firmware (with Multi-window) by flashing a zip file in TWRP Recovery.
There’s two versions of the ROM, one odexed and the other deodexed. I recommend using the Deodexed version as you can install mods like all-app Multi-Window. Odex version is more stock, you can use that if you are trying to unroot your phone back to completely stock.
Slightly de-bloated (while keeping most of stock Sammy apps), the Jedi Master ROM for your rooted T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 brings a few tweaks including Awesome BEATS and Sony Bravia Engine to improve upon your stock ROM. For those of you who want to keep most of your stock apps while giving your newly-wedded phone a boost in performance and battery life, give the Jedi Master ROM a try, also developed by an Android master developer ptmr3 (you can follow him on Twitter here)
For those of you who want to have more app storage space for your HD games and whatnot, here’s a simple App2SD script you can use to store all of your apps on your microSD card. This will essentially swap your internal storage with your microSD card and allow you to use up to 64GB of space (if you use 64GB microSD card).
For those of you who have bricked your Galaxy Note 2 (perhaps ended up in a bootloop), want to return to stock firmware (because you forgot to make a backup ROM!), or you want to return your Note 2 back to Samsung Service center for warranty, here’s how to unroot/unbrick your Galaxy Note 2 with stock firmware.
