Android 4.4.2 ND7 + Root for Verizon Galaxy Note 2!

For this week’s Verizon Galaxy Note 2 ROM of the week, check out the latest Android 4.4.2 ND7 + Root!

Verizon has finally released Android 4.4.2 for the Verizon Note 2, which just came out last week.  Well, you don’t have to unroot to get the latest stock firmware and we actually don’t recommend it as you will be stuck with latest bootloader, which will prevent you from installing AOSP ROMs and you will have to use SafeStrap to install only TouchWiz ROMs.

JellyKat ROM for Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100! [KitKat + AirCommand]

For those of you who have been waiting for Android 4.4.2 KitKat from Samsung, we have some great news for you, there’s a bunch of custom ROMs out there with the leaked Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

One of them I really like is the JellyKat ROM, which is a custom ROM for the GT-N7100 Note 2.  With JellyKat ROM, you will be able to experience some of the latest features such as Floating Pen Windows, just like found on the Note 3.

Omni ROM with Android 4.4.2 for Galaxy Note 2! [AT&T/T-Mobile/Sprint/Verizon/GT-N7100/GT-N7105/Canadian]

Also for this week’s ROM of the week, check out Omni ROM with latest Android 4.4.2.

UPDATE: Please see latest version of Omni ROM here instead by clicking HERE!!!

Very similar to CM11 but slightly different, Omni ROM brings you some interesting combination of customization including notification count, network speed indicator, screen recording (still work in progress but may work on some Note 2 models), Active Display, and some more.  It’s not a TON different from CM11 but we are still seeing early stages of custom ROM development for Android 4.4.2 so this is probably better than nothing.

CM11 ROM with Android 4.4.2 for Galaxy Note 2! [AT&T/T-Mobile/Sprint/Verizon/Canadian/GT-N7105]

For this week’s Galaxy Note 2 ROM of the week, check out the latest CM11 ROM (again).

What’s changed since couple weeks back we took a look?

Not too much but CM11 ROM is now based on latest Android 4.4.2 sources, which comes with additional stability, performance, and bugs zapped.  This is a work in progress but CM11 ROM seems pretty stable enough to recommend as daily driver for those of you who want as near pure Android as possible while running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
