I downloaded this ROM and install in my Note II its good ROM but my AllianceROM OTA update is not working when go to AllianceROM OTA update massage showing “system requires reboot” and several times reboot the my phone but same problem I m facing. Can you guide me how to do AllianceROM OTA update?

I have down load this 2 times..and both times there is a file missing?? romconfig.xml ducument..cant seem to copy file into my note 2…any help here??

Ive been using Omega ROM for a very very veryyyy long time on my Note 2, i found it too be much more consistent in terms of battery life / performance than other ROM’s. But when i stumbled across a post you commented on telling someone that this is the ROM you personally have been using, i thought i gotta try that. And thank god i did! This is by far the best ROM i have tried for the Note 2. I love that it incorporates all the Stock TW based features, and also gives you the best of the AOSP look/feel/features. I was surprised to find that all the features i loved about AOSP/AOKP most of them were in this ROM. Thanks Max!!

I’ve been using Romo Rom for a couple of weeks and it’s a great ROM problem was I can’t use the app2sd note on it. Is Alliance Rom better? or Wanamlite?

Hey, this is so weird, I cannot get into the recovery mode into my Note 2. Is already rooted and nothing happens! Please help!
Excellent rom. Best of custom with a number of extras. Have a slight problem though. In settings Rom Customizer and AllianceOTA doesn’t seem to work as the phone freezes when selecting them. Custom settings seem to work fine.
Am having OTA issues. when i click it it goes to system rebbot required but after doing that still nothing happens.
why after install this rom.when i unlock the fone its says my sd card not properly remove then it scanning like normal..it happens after i unlock the fone..pls help
i have a sprint note 2 rooted with trwp recovery & odin pro yet i cant flash any custom roms. twrp always says failed & when i use moblie odin pro either it just flashes the kernel (which only worked once) or it gets stuck in a boot loop and i have to boot from my backup. i have been trying to flash whompasoruars for weeks now no luck any tips?
p.s. i have also reinstalled the stock recovery to get my ota with no luck so i reinstalled twrp

My situation’s the same as “Kevin Lepp” – I’ve moved from Apple to Android devices lately. To be precise: iPhone 4 32GB (iOS 5.0.1 + jailbreak; lots of stuff) to Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) 16GB + 64GB SDXC.
Android is still mysterious for me, but I’m going to try this rom – stock’s so… T_T’
guys I have a question , I was using stock rom with perseus kernel.battery is very important for me . so how is battery life in this rom with perseus kernel?? is it better than stock?? I play games so I need good batter performance

how can i use 2 languages at the same time?
like when i chat on whats app i want to change between languages at the same time, i don’t want to go settings everytime i want to write Arabic or English and change the whole system language
I’m currently running a stock rom with perseus kernel. wondering if I will lose all my info, settings, etc, if I upgrade to this. also, what is the simplest way to revert back to how things were prior to installing this rom if i don’t like it? sorry, still a bit of newb over here :/
Hi Max, Hope you are doing well.. I am currently running omega rom on my GT-N7100..Read on XDA Forums to install AllianceRom i must have a rooted Stock touchwiz rom and then flash AllianceRom frm Rom Customizer.
So can this be done in the regular way as well directly frm CWM Recovery??
Or if you could suggest a better method please.

looks like it’s a bug it freezes when i lock the screen in camera app 🙁

Great site! I just started modding my phone and it is FUN! I’ve tried a couple roms already, all by following your guides. Now this has happened to me twice already. When I use the cwm recovery, but when I install a rom like Alliance that overwrites it with twrp recovery, my phone cannot connect to my mobile phone network at all. Installing a new rom that I knew I could call with and have mobile internet (eg hawkish), I still couldn’t connect.
The only way to fix it would be to bring it back completely to stock rom and unrooted. Then I can install a rom with full connection to my mobile network. That is until I install alliance again.
Any idea what’s causing this? I have tried to manually select my network, which it detects, but still can’t call.

How long does it take to complete? Mine stuck at ‘cleaning’ for almost half an hour. What need i do? I use Samsung Galaxy Note II, GTN7100.

Dear Max I tried using Aliance ROM i could not get mobile signal as whenever tried making calles message was coming that not register on network.

Hey this rom looked best while looking over the snaps but after installation i’m facing issues with sim detection i.e it does not detect my sim card n hence i cannot call nor send messages n same with the internet connectivity but wi-fi works great.So please help me to restore my phone’s ability to detect my sim card.
Hmm that is weird, you can try a fresh reinstall and if it happens again, try installing another ROM.
