For Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100, check out the latest X-Note ROM!

Based on TouchWiz Android 4.1.2, X-Note ROM brings you three custom themes to choose from, Gold Theme, Blue Transparent Theme, and X-Note Elegant Theme. I’ve actually tried all three themes and they are all nicely done, my favorite being the Gold Theme (as shown in video).

For kernels, you will have a choice of 4 different kernels, stock MC3, Abyss kernel, Perseus kernel, or Adam kernel. You will easily be able to switch between the 4 different kernels to find the best matching kernel for your daily usage to maximize battery life and performance. (You can also see how you can use Perseus kernel to overlock/underclock here.)

You also get 5 different launchers to choose from, AOSP 5×5 with rotation, AOSP 5×5 w/o rotation, Nova launcher, Apex launcher, or X-Note TouchWiz 5×5 launcher with configurable 9 home screens and 6-icon hotset.

For sound, you can get Audio Engine v5.0, Awesome Beats, and Noozxoide sound mod.

Other neat features include, Flash Player, Android 4.2 PhotoSphere camera/gallery, voice recorder, and multi-window enabled for all apps.

Best all, X-Note ROM comes with an easy-to-configure AROMA graphical installer that you can run to change any of these features/themes.

Overall, X-Note ROM is pretty versatile in providing some nice themes along with features you will appreciate.

If this sounds like something your Note 2 can benefit from, definitely give it a twirl this week(end) and do let me know what you think! I like it so much, it is currently my daily drivin’ ROM.
