This guy does not offer support, even though he offers hundred ways to mess up your phone. If he says ‘its good’ then assume it’s not and it will break your phone.

Max has taught me everything I need to know about rooting phones his websites and videos are very helpful. So for you to say that he doesn’t help. Ur wrong and you can also eat a dick. If you really can’t get the help You need off one of these sites maybe you shouldn’t have messed with your phone to begin with. Don’t blame max for your stupidity

hahaha yes buddy say f**k off from this site we don’t need you 😀 i don’t think so there is any problem with rooting your phone.. offcorse may be it is risky but it’s also makes ur phone cool in short u got what u want after u root 😉

    • Max Lee says:

      Try this

btw i do support as much as i can on my free time. Its humanly impossible for me to reply to everyone (i would literally not get anything done but answer questions all day) but many others are willing to answer your questions if u post the questions in rom posts. And also read the FAQ first if u did you did not have to ask the question about this.

Don’t blame Max if you brick your own phone. Before you root your device follow the steps completely in details and do read the comments people posts before you decide to root. It takes some time to get used to rooting your device. And nothing is promising regarding the device that you are about to root.

I just have one question. How can I change the stock dialer on my AT&T note2? I want to able enable/disable auto-complete dialpad. In other words…..I want to be able to disable names or numbers from popping up as I’m dialing. I know that jellybean 4.3 has that feature for the nexus.

Wish your fine, I want to ask you about my note 2, I got this phone used and after i used it found that this device firmware has been changed.
When i am going to check for updates its giving me that the system is modified, also if i want to go to odin download mode there is a strange thing that the product name field is blank GT-N7100 is not there and if i want to upload the new firmware to the phone its giving me failed in odin.

Is there any way to help me fix this phone.

    • vito says:

the best thing to do is unroot your phone and flash it back to stock. this way you wont have any problems or errors with your phone and you can update your phone.

      • Anas says:

        Hi Vito

Thank you for your reply, i found that the first person was using this phone changed the serial number in this phone, i checked the one in the firmware its different than the back cover.

Need a little help. Note 2 (i605) updated to 4.3. Rooted with saferoot. everything was fine until i tried to use Ti Bkp to push updates into ROM to keep space on int storage. After reboot, it hangs at the Sammy GN II splash screen. Have tried downgrading to 4.1.2 (root66 stock) via odin. I get a pass on the reflash, but at the reboot it still hangs. Any ideas?

I’ve flashed this ROM, but now when I try to reboot, I see the “galaxy note 2 logo”, then screen goes black. Have to take battery out, can reboot into recovery, but same thing every time. I didn’t flash Gapps, it didn’t say to in the directions, was I supposed to?

    Hello All,

I may be in the wrong place,, but here goes.

I rooted my AT&T SGH-I317 Galaxy Note 2, Android Ver. 4.1.2 about 4 years ago. It ran flawless until last week, when something glitched in it…now I need some help I lost data like Contact Phone Numbers and addresses, Apps, Photos, dates from the planner and I am unable to download anything, even Apps I paid for from the App Store to reinstall them. Do I have to UN-Root it before I do a Factory data reset under the back up and recovery menu ? OR can I just do it ? This is only my second rooted phone… my first was a Note 1 that got stolen and this one, So I never had to do a reset till now.

Thanks for any help, advice and / or links in advance.

      Again thank you in advance,
