For this week’s Sprint Galaxy Note 2 SPH-L900 ROM of the week, check out Lab Rats ROM!

If you like Pinky and the Brain (it was one of my favorites back in college like 10 years ago), you will certainly appreciate some of the Pink and the Brain sounds during boot and also whenever you pull out your S-Pen.

Lab Rats come with build prop tweaks to improve your audio, 3G, WiFi, and battery life.

For performance, Lab Rats comes with Perseus kernel so you can easily overclock CPU/GPU, undervolt, change audio levels, charge faster, and all of that good stuff (You can read up on what you can do with Perseus kernel here).

For sound, you can use Perseus STweaks app along with Noozxoide EIZO app for full audio tweaking.

Of course, you do also get multi-window enabled for all apps and that’s just the tip of the iceburg.

The heart of Lab Rats ROM is at the Team Nocturnal Updater app, which allows you to update easily to new ROM updates, add back removed apps, change S-Pen sounds (if you don’t like Pinky and the Brain), kernels, modems, keyboards, launchers, and a ton more. This app alone is worth trying the ROM as you get full control over your phone after installing ROM by adding/removing your favorite features. (You have to flash the features/mods you download using recovery for TWRP, just look in /sdcard/LabRatsUpdater directory!)

If you are ready to take over the world, definitely give the Lab Rats ROM a try this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
