For this week’s ROM of the week, check out LiquidSmooth ROM for your Galaxy Note 2.
Available for nearly all Galaxy Note 2s including AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, international GT-N7100/GT-N7105, the LiquidSmooth ROM brings the latest bleeding edge of Android 4.2.2, root, and UI customizations to your Note 2.
For Canadian users, you can use AT&T or T-Mobile versions by matching the first 7 letters of your model number. E.g. If you have a SGH-i317M, then you can install AT&T SGH-i317 ROM.
For Korean users with SHV-E250 series, you can use AT&T version coupled with AOSP SJKernels. (I haven’t tested this yet though not sure if SJKernels support Android 4.2.2 but should be compatible. At the worst you will probably end up in a bootloop but I am pretty sure it will boot fine.)
With LiquidSmooth ROM, you can expect all the goodness of Android 4.2.2, UI customizations like AOKP, Xposed App Settings built-in (see How to Setup Xposed App Settings here), and even overclocking available for several variants like AT&T, T-Mobile, and more.
Remember though that you will lose all of your TouchWiz powers such as Multi-window, Smart Stay/Rotation, this isn’t a ROM for the feeble-minded but for those of you who want to run “pure” Android.
If this is something along the lines of what you want to do, definitely give it a go this week and let me know what you think but I think you will like it if you like AOSP ROMs.

Installation:
To install, reboot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset (unless coming from another AOSP-based ROM, do make a backup ROM just in case also), install ROM, wipe cache, and reboot.
Once your ROM boots fine, reboot into recovery and install Gapps to get Play Store. If you want to install kernel, reboot into recovery again and install kernel at the end.
If you end up in a bootloop, try re-installing ROM from the very start (just wiping cache will not work) and make sure to wipe cache before rebooting.
Bugs: Korean font is broken, so if you need to read Korean, don’t install this ROM!
