Probably the “best” ROM on the Verizon Galaxy Note 2 right now is the Jelly Beans ROM. This ROM is highly recommended for those of you installing your very first custom ROM as it is very stable, stock-like, with many features you will want.

First, the Jelly Beans ROM comes with multi-window enabled for all apps, meaning you can use true multi-tasking on all of your favorite apps and also does come with pop-up browser for total of three windows if you wanted.

Other than that, the Jelly Beans ROM comes with 15 toggles that can be customized and ordered in the way you wish.

Also for launchers, you do have a load of options between 4×4, 4×5, 4×4/4×5 scrolling Touchwiz wallpaper and Nova launcher during setup.

If you are looking to enhance your Verizon Note 2 experience, definitely give Jelly Beans ROM a try and let me know what you think!

To install custom ROMs on Verizon Note 2, you MUST have your bootloader unlocked!!!

I will be installing it today later on since because it is my day off from work. And also I’m freaking sick of the Verizon OTA update notification. I hope installing a custom rom will fix that annoying pop up. Anyway guys if you havn’t unlocked your bootloader I don’t know it you can use odin to instal this custom rom but it looks awesome.
thanks for posting and doing the awesome work.

Page buddy doesn’t let me load any apps I wish. I drag Facebook and then another app pops up in its place. Wipe cache/dalvic when I flashed.

    • Derek Arguello says:

Can someone elaborate on what this guyistalking about dragging facebook ?

This rom rocks. Is there a T-889 version or something extremely comparable available anywhere?

Is there a way I can ask for features for newer builds for the verizon note 2 and where and also where can I donate to creator?

So I’ve installed this ROM using custom recovery twrp and installed flawlessly. I had no issue at all. Full compatible with Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2, no S pen functionality loss or anything. Just had a minor lag but it was only one time deal. So far looking good. Thanks a lot Max.

i have a rooted stock verizon note 2 baseband i605vrall4 i want to keep stock but enable all apps for multiview and transparent multiwindow what should i do?

  8. Derek Arguello says:

Is it normal to only get about 7 to 8 minutes per battery pecentage drop on this rom for example say I have 98 % batterl life after surfing the Web for about 7 minutes my battery percentage will drop to 97 % is that about normal ?

    • havard83 says:

Even if it were 6 min per battery percent , thats 10 percent per hour . So you should get 10 hours of web browsing on the battery , and that my friend is not to bad.

  9. Derek Arguello says:

It was the same with cleanrom 3.5

  10. Tony says:

I’m going to install this ROM here in a few minutes, but I was wondering if there is a way to put an overclocked kernel on here. I was going to use eclipse because it has it, but I honestly like the Samsung widgets for things like the alarm clock.

  11. Mike says:

I keep getting the “invalid” file error when loading SuckitVerizon file in ODIN…. anyone? I downloaded it with different browser, different computer, all same error.

  12. Megan says:

Installed the build and no multi-window?

  13. Alex says:

Just wondering is there any chance this could mess up my phone? if so how big? and are there any legal complications this may present with Verizon, say i needed it serviced or anything like that.
    many thanks

  14. Alex says:

Thank you very much. This just made my weekend. I got tired of the stock settings real quick. Thanks.

I want to know if it has the option to install apps to the sd card. I read about switching the internal memory with the external elsewhere. I play big games like horn or gta3 that take lots of space and would benefit greatly with this option if it is available on this rom or any other rom

Can not get wifi direct to send on B7 I can recieve files just can’t send any fix for this.

  17. Scott says:

Do you recommend to update from beans 7 to 10 and if so can I just wipe caches??

  18. Tyler says:

Is there any way to get this or something similar to it on a note 2 that isn’t a Verizon build?

  19. Peter Gil says:

I installed this ROM on Sunday. Liking it so far. My only problem is that Google search only works with bluetooth if you disable Media Audio. You have to do this every time you connect your Bluetooth device! I use Bluetooth with Google Search a lot while driving and this is extremely annoying. It is a known bug in Android 4.1 that was fixed in 4.2. I wish there were a 4.2 update to this ROM.

I love this ROM started on JB Build 11 just upgraded to 12. It has been running stable as can be for most purposes. I have noticed 1 glitch which i am not sure if anyone else is experiencing, which is if I have auto rotate enabled and the screen is horizontal when the screen decides to auto sleep it locks the phone up. The phone will turn on but all touch controls are gone and the only way to come back from it is hard reset by removing the battery. Have not noticed the issue when phone is horizontal and I physically lock the phone via the power button. That would be the only issue I see with it and even with that being said I give this 9 out of 10 stars. The options you have during load up via Aroma are plentiful most of the stock options that came with phone are available, or you can try some of the other options they offer. I have noticed to that if you forgot something after you have set everything up the way you want, just run the installer again change what you need, leave the cache and what not alone (do not wipe) and waaa laaa you are back up and running right where you left off.

Where do I get updated builds for this ROM?

  22. wesley says:

this rom works great and really smooth. the only issue i have is that the S pen doesnt write. I can use it to drag and stuff, but it just wont write. any ideas?

Is there a way I can unlock Verizon Multi Windows with a rooted stock rom Verizon note 2? Or a real stable stock like rom. I tried a few other roms.  I’m just very happy with the stock features with exposed app setting and a few other rooted tweaks

    • George says:

Just flash this rom (currently build 14) and you won’t regret it. None of the existing problems that were mentioned already are present in this updated build and you have an option in the aroma installer to keep everything stock (sounds, touchwiz, battery, kernal, launcher and even the ripple unlock screen. I really can’t believe how happy I am with this rom. I have had 0 crashes since the first jelly beans rom. I have used the OTA updater included in custom settings to update each build. There is a new build available every week or so.

    • George says:

and no you cannot unlock multi-window with root as it is built into the operating system. Even if you edited the system files (which root enables you too do) nothing else would work with it.

The operating system needs to know how to handle (resize) multi-window applications
